Days of our Lives

Desi Turned 3!
She had a week full of fun. Since her birthday fell on a weekday, we spent time taking her to The Aquarium.  She loved sticking her hand in the water to pet the stingrays.  They were slimy!  She then enjoyed spending a dinner date with grandpa "Papa" at McGraths Fish House.  And of course we involved all 30 of her cousins and then some to Hogle Zoo to see the White Alligator.  Being the only child thus far.. I would say she is a little spoiled.  She is FINALLY potty trained and she is not shy about letting others know how proud of it she is.  A little bribery with money did the trick!  She looked forward to those shiny coins and dollar bills to collect in her piggy bank, she caught on too quick that we had to lower her allowance.  But hey, we figured it was the money we were replacing for diapers.  For the most part she is a joy in all our lives and brings smiles to her family!
Park City Arts Festival
This was Nate's first "official" public appearance to sell his art.
He is selling his prints through the Harley Shop.  Since the Salt Lake City owns the Park City Harley Clothing store.. it was very convenient for Nate to be right in the middle of the Arts Festival.  This was a great opportunity for him to get his name out there and especially see what he is up against.  Nate has his plate pretty full.  With working full time at Watson Pharm and teaching art classes at The Artist Corner, going to school at SLCC, drawing new bikes for the Harley Shop and especially spending time with us.  I am especially proud of him and grateful for all that he is and does.
CHICAGO
I have been working for a scrapbook company named 7gypsies.  I am a Sales rep and have the great joy and blessings of working from home.  My office has been put in the dungeon until our basement gets finished.  It's almost there and I can't wait!  Thanks to the help of my dad and brother!  7gypsies has been a blast to work for.  I used to work for them about 2 years ago and I must say I like it lots better this time around.  I love getting to know my customers and helping them grow their business'.  It has been so fun to meet some of them as I traveled to Chicago to a craft and hobby Show.   We spent a lot of time on our feet and I must say very exhausting, however, Well worth it!  I learned so much.  And the city is beautiful.. I can't wait to go back! The Chicago dogs are worth craving and the stuffed chicago pizza is nothing compared to Papa Murphy's.  It is so delicious!   For the most part.. we are enjoying our time with family!
